Róisín Dubh Comedy & Tedfest 2012 presents
A night of stand up comedy from three of THE STARS OF FR TED
and the Second Annual Galway Lovely Girls Competition (Although the first one was in 2010)
EOIN MCLOVE AKA Patrick McDonnell
Patrick is no stranger to our television screens from Eoin McLove on Father Ted to his hilarious characters on ‘Naked Camera’. However, if you haven’t seen his unique brand of stand-up comedy, you’re truly missing out.
FR STONE AKA Michael Redmond
Father Paul Stone was an exceedingly boring priest who comes to stay every year. Rarely says a word but insists he’s “fine”, whenever he is spoken to. He was struck by lightning while playing Crazy Golf leading Dougal to comment that “he looks like a trophy”.
FR DAMO AKA Joe Rooney
Joe has recently appeared in the hit RTE comedy series,”Killinaskully” as the character “Timmy Higgins” and also featured in the stand up show “The Liffey Laugh” on RTE 2.
Joe is probably best known for his role as Father Damo in the “Father Ted” series.
Calling All Lovely Girls!
The application process is pretty simply. We want 4 Lovely Girls (free entry if picked) to take part in the competition on the night. To apply all you has to do is to write 100 words in an e-mail telling us why you are a lovely girl plus attach a photo. Please email: comedy@roisindubh.net
