Scottish comedian ALAN FRANCIS first came to the notice of comedy audiences when he won Channel 4′s So You Think You’re Funny Award in 1991. Since then his reputation has grown as a writer, stand-up and actor.
Middle Act- Danielle Ward
Danielle is a multi award winning stand-up comedian and writer of sell-out Edinburgh Fringe plays ‘Take-A-Break Tales’ and ‘Psister Psycho’ as well as two critically acclaimed solo stand up shows. Her stand-up has won her both the BBC New Comedy Award and the Time Out Best Newcomer Award and prompted critics to liken her quirky and original style to “…a Nick Cave album recited by a cheerful would-be Dorothy Parker.”
Compere – Tim Fitzhigham
Tim Fitzhigham began telling funny stories in a rum shop in the West Indies while working as a pig farmer, this may have been the beginnings of his work as a stand-up comedian. Back in the UK in 1999, he performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with James Carey and Jonny Saunders in “Infinite Number of Monkeys – Sketch Comedy of Hypotheticals”, where he was nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award (now the Edinburgh Comedy Award) for best newcomer.
Closing Act – Paul Kerensa
Exiled Cornishman Paul Kerensa has established himself as one of British comedy’s leading young talents, both as a writer and a comedian. In just a few short years he has become a regular at the UK’s biggest venues, and a popular and reliable headline act. Still only in his late twenties, Paul has, as a ginger man, battled both prejudice and apathy, and emerged to win ITV’s ‘Take The Mike’ stand-up competition in 2002. In the same year, he appeared in four new act finals at the Edinburgh Festival, including the televised BBC New Comedy Awards.

MIKE BELGRAVE
Mike Belgrave is an Irish West Indian Londoner who has been performing all over the country for quite a few years now, including Dublin and Barcelona.
He is regularly paid to MC large clubs and perform opening and headlining sets at many venues. He is particularly on fine form when asked to MC rowdy university gigs.
Mike was the first and original promoter of the Troy Club and used to promote and compere The Piccadilly Circus comedy club. He continues to occasionally book and organise various gigs around the country.
His first excursion into the Edinburgh fringe was in 2003 with “Some Comedians without Peter Buckley”.
In Edinburgh 2006 he had a successful run with his debut 1 hour stand up show “Out to Lunch”.
Mike was a regular presenter on Festival FM throughout the Edinburgh festival 2006.
He is currently working on his 2007 Edinburgh show “raised 2b stupid”
